Fight Food Waste
Discovering discarded pastries spurred me to create NeverGoHungry—an app addressing the alarming 35% of wasted food in the U.S. With Google Cloud's tools, I developed features connecting restaurants with surplus food to those seeking affordable meals. Geo-location and QR codes streamlined the process. If half of discarded food was recovered, it could provide three daily meals for every hungry American. This creative solution, fueled by digital marketing, became my contribution to battling food waste, one meal at a time. NeverGoHungry exemplifies the power of inventive approaches for meaningful change, addressing a global issue from a local discovery.
